When the World Turns DayGlo!

I can’t begin to tell you how much I adore Rufus Dayglo(and his art!).
When he first made his mark(..heh),drawing a new Tank Girl series,“Skidmarks”(for the Judge Dredd Megazine,275-84,17Sep’08-26May’09,with co-creator,writer Alan Martin,I thought he’d been brought in to try and replicate Jamie Hewlett’s fabulous work.
Since then however,even though the strip is Hewlett-esque,Rufus’ art steadfastly refuses to be pigeonholed;at times it reminds me of Mike McMahon during the Dredd years,or Brendan McCarthy at his weirdest!
I think it best summed-up like this;his work is vintage 2000AD,whilst hinting at an insane but utterly fun-filled future!
